This is one of my favorite videos I’ve ever captured and edited. I was hired to photograph and film Base2Space, a fundraiser for the Fred Hutch Cancer Research Center, along with the Halo Walk, where the top finishers of Base2Space got to walk around the outside of the Space Needle. It was an incredible experience to be part of and to document.
Standing on the outside of the Space Needle was truly a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. After the Space Needle’s remodel, the Halo Walk was discontinued, making this event the last time anyone had the chance to do it.
