About Matt McDonald
Hi! My name is Matt McDonald and I am a marketer, content creator, and developer in Seattle, Washington. When I was a kid I would hand code websites for my parents’ friends, shoot photos, and then develop the photos in my high school dark room to use on the websites. I’ve always enjoyed each part of the creative process equally and continue to do so.
Since I loved creating all kinds of stuff I bought this domain name and never let it go (someone also owned MattMcDonald.com at the time). Under the name EqualityDesigns I created a clothing company, a magazine, design agency and it is now my portfolio website.
Now I am a new media entrepreneur in Seattle with years of experience building websites, capturing photos/video, managing projects and making sure everyone sees all the work (aka SEO). I spent several years as a photojournalist in the newspaper and action sports industries. I helped create innovative websites backed by media plans that doubled sales and traffic. Now a balanced life of strategy and creativity is what keeps me going. Feel free to scroll down to learn more about my work.

Photo And Video Work
To stay with my naming theme my photo and video work is listed under EqualMotion. You may have seen some of my action sports, wedding or Space Needle photos before. Photography is also one of my favorite hobbies, so a lot of the work you might see was just for fun.
